We need a name for the 'tax calculation' project. We don't yet have a
RoR front-end for GNU Khata, but, it includes lot of accounting
backend. We will not focus on it for now. But, I would like to have
the 'tax calculation' front-end and back-end done as a plugin/Rails
engine that can be deployed with any Rails project.

Which book/material are you following for Rails? Let me know when you
have practiced basic Rails model, controller, view examples and Rails
testing examples (unit, functional, integration testing).

I shall then let you know the next steps.
