One of our new members, Rupam Das is interested in conducting am
introductory course on ...in his words..

"On May 1st I plan to hold short introductory classes on C programming
on Linux platform and Embedded Systems Basics. Each class would be up
to 2 hours, with presentation and demo. If interest is there, I can
also hold a tutorial class on C.

These classes are going to be a window to my training programs that I
want to deliver in Kolkata in June-July 2011, during the Summer
Vacation of WBUT. I am doing this to attract interested students and
others to preview my offerings and teaching methods.  We are in the
process of finalising the location."

He has been actively involved in Programming, GNU/Linux and embedded
systems training for many years.

1. Please indicate the suitability of the date
2. You will need to confirm participation for the introductory course
(no fees for this)
3. The training programs will stretch over  ~30 days (as per plans).

I will put up a more detailed notification at www.ilug-cal.info after the
location and date (?) are also fixed.
