I am Abhishek(abhishekg5 on IRC). I am a computer science engineering
student(2nd year).
I came to know about this training while surfing the web. Yes it
changed a lot of things. It helped learning a lot of new tools, new
projects and actually contributing to open source.

Tips for future aspirants: When it starts you may think for a few days
that this is very simple stuff(Especially if you already know a bit of
Linux), you can learn it by yourself. But after a few days will come a
phase where you'll learn a lot of cool stuff, advanced stuff. So be
patient and MOST importantly, Be consistent. Everyday you learn
something new. And mentors are awesome ;)
